Our Big Idea

Our big idea is that by actively improving the overall level of trust in society we have a better chance of working together to tackle some of the really big problems facing our future well-being and survival. Building trust will give everyone the opportunity to  fulfil their potential by removing fear and suspicion and allowing collaboration and innovation.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to contribute to the successful development of organizations, institutions and individuals by helping to improve trust in how they operate and in what they deliver.

Our Values

These are the values we aspire to as individuals and as an organization, are judged by and admire in others.

  • Respect – we respect other peoples views, opinions and ways of living.

  • Truthfulness – we will be open and honest in all our dealings.

  • Diligence – we will be thorough and thoughtful in all our work. We will not jump to conclusions or make rash generalisations. We will always seek to understand and explain the root causes behind the issues.

  • Wisdom – we will undertake to use the best knowledge and experience in reaching conclusions and finding solutions. We will explore all sides of an issue. We will encourage our staff and colleagues to continually reflect on, and widen their knowledge and experience.

  • Empathy – we seek to understand the perspective and consider the feelings of our stakeholders in everything we do. However, we will recognise and openly discuss conflicts of values.

  • Enjoyment – we gain great satisfaction in working well with others and creating an environment where everyone can enjoy making a positive contribution, fulfilling their potential and gaining a sense of pride and self worth

  • Steadfastness – we will not compromise our values without a compelling justification and detailed assessment of the consequences and we will stand by our conclusions if we believe they are just and right until they are proved otherwise.

Our beliefs

We believe that trust is earned through:

  • the consistent and robust application of an appropriate set of values

  • the clear articulation of  purpose and explanation of what you do and how you do it

  • the ability to comprehend how your activities affect others and a willingness to modify actions accordingly

  • transparency, allowing everyone to see that your activities are legitimate and valid, with no intent to deceive or exploit
